The most important discoveries on Cricut
What do you know about the machine made by Cricut? These revolutionary contraptions can do great scrapbooking work. But getting started might be a bit confusing. What follows is a beginner’s guide to using the Cricut products. However, there is no question about the fact that Cricut is incredibly easy for anyone to understand.
In addition to the machine itself, the Cricut Cartridges are very important. The cartridges can be substituted with ease. You can get a Cartridge that contains letters, or you can get one that has pictures. If you want to do cool stuff with shapes, look no further than the picture cartridges. You’ll be doing all your Cricut related artwork using these two parts of the system. The Quick Start Guide can be of assistance as well. Yet no one will deny that Cricut Cartridges are supremely helpful.
Second, you need to know how to start up the Cricut Machine. The machines draw power from included power adapters. The USB port next to it usually isn’t used under normal operations. Cut-outs are easily made – all you need is for a Cricut Cartridge to correspond to a button on the Cricut keyboard. It controls the cuts that are made. Cutting mats are also very helpful, for holding paper in place. The Cricut has an easy to locate ON button for once it is plugged in. It’s in the front of the Cricut Machine. The LCD display monitor will now turn on. Please take note of the fact that the Cricut Expression is absolutely in keeping with the machine described in this guide.
The next step is putting on the keyboard overlay.
One of the Cricut Cartridges - any of your choosing – is now needed to be placed into the appropriate slot. The machine will initialize the cartridge within a few seconds, and understand the fonts and/or shapes on it. This is where you must check to make sure that the Cartridge and keypad are talking to one another. If it doesn’t, the machine will not initialize correctly.
It is also important to get rid of the covering of the Cricut mat. If it’s not your first time using it, all you have to do is align the paper with the corner alignment mark symbol. Once the paper is on the mat, you are ready to do this.
The “Space” and “Back Space” keys function just like those on your computer keyboard. There is a knob on the machine which will manage how large the cutouts are. The screen on the machine has all the information regarding the machine’s settings. When the machine runs out of paper, simple instructions make it very easy to load in a new stack of the paper stock of your choice.
